Job Skills / Requirements Monday - Friday | 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to support daytime cleaning operations at a large automotive manufacturing facility in the New Boston area near the I-275 and Bell Road corridor. This is a full-time, hands-on custodial position that plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility environment. The position covers all aspects of custodial work, including floor care, restroom cleaning, trash removal, and general facility upkeep within an active factory and shop environment. Responsibilities Perform full custodial cleaning duties throughout the facility Clean restrooms, common areas, offices, workspaces, and shared spaces Remove trash and replace liners throughout the building Vacuum assigned areas using a backpack vacuum Sweep, mop, and maintain hard surface floors Operate floor care equipment, including automatic floor scrubbers Restock supplies and report supply needs as needed Follow cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and building expectations Report facility concerns, maintenance issues, or equipment problems to management Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility environment Requirements Steel toe or hardened toe safety shoes are required for this position Must be comfortable working in a factory/shop environment Previous janitorial, custodial, or floor care experience preferred Ability to wear and use a backpack vacuum during the shift Experience using floor scrubbers or floor care equipment preferred Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic Ability to work independently and complete a full cleaning routine Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift Comfortable working around manufacturing activity and following site safety rules At Saber, we strive to create a workplace built on respect, support, and opportunity.
