Custodian

**Custodian** **POSITION SUMMARY** Perform general housekeeping and facilities tasks to maintain a clean facility. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** - Maintain the cleanliness of facility by performing various janitorial duties to include but not limited to sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors, sanitizing restroom facilities, collecting trash, dusting and cleaning offices. - Perform miscellaneous maintenance and support tasks throughout the facility and surrounding property. - Manage inventory of paper goods and cleaning supplies. - Maintain records, complete paperwork and documentation. - Effectively manage time and complete all tasks assigned by supervisor. - Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices. - Ensure that the products and/or supplies are being handled in a sanitary method consistent with labels. - Work well with others in a team-orientated atmosphere. - Other related duties as assigned. **REQUIREMENTS** - 18 years or older - High school diploma, GED or equivalent - Ability to operate a floor scrubber and forklift (if applicable.) - Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math - Must possess thorough understanding of plant machinery. **ABILITIES** - Regular, reliable, predictable attendance. - Review and adhere to all Pepsi of Greenville policies, including safety. - Good communication skills, both verbal and written. - Excellent attention to detail/accuracy. - Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. - Basic technology skills. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT** - Must be physically and mentally able to successfully perform the essential elements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. - The ability to hear, talk, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds. - Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. - Vision requirements to do this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. - Must be able to use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, moving, and manipulating materials and supplies. - Must be able to safely lift up to 30 pounds on a periodic basis. - Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of various types of materials and parts. - This position requires walking or standing most of the time during the shift. - Bending and stooping is routine during the work shift. **PLEASE NOTE:** Pepsi of Greenville reserves the right to change, modify or add to the duties and essential functions at any time.
