Custodian (6565)

Performs a variety of general maintenance and housekeeping for the Area Command, maintains a safe, neatness and cleanliness of the facilities daily. Provide set up to conference rooms for functions, which includes moving tables, placing drinks and, snacks. **Key Responsibilities:** - Facilities Cleaning Responsibilities (80%) - Other Responsibilities (20%): **Physical Requirements:** - Ability to meet attendance requirements. - Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively. - Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects. - Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing. - Ability to exert the physical energy required to perform the needed janitorial work. - Duties are performed standing and requires squatting, climbing, bending and walking.
