Custodial Worker I

FTE: .5 (20 hrs. weekly), Night Shift 10:00 pm - 6:30 am Regions Hospital is seeking a positive and cheerful Custodial Worker to join our team! Custodial Workers provide a clean and safe environment for patients to receive care and staff to provide care. This position is responsible for: - Cleaning and servicing all areas of the hospital according to established procedures. - Moves supplies throughout the hospital and will also move light equipment or furniture occasionally per department set up request. - Performs a variety of environmental services and cleaning duties to help maintain the hospital in a clean and sanitary condition. - Performs other duties as assigned. **Work schedule:** FTE: .5 (20 hrs. weekly), Night Shift **Required Qualifications:** **Education:** High School diploma or equivalent preferred **Experience:** Custodial experience in a hospital-related environment preferred - Must be able to read, write and follow directions and/or oral instructions in English. - Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. - Ability to push/pull 30 pounds up to 90 feet. **** Benefits: Regions Hospital offers a competitive benefits package (.5 FTE or greater) that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, 401K with match, disability insurance, fertility coverage and tuition reimbursement.
