Must be able to work morning and afternoon shifts. 1st shift begins at 6am, 2nd shift begins at noon.** ## Requirements Working as a Culinary Aide in our nursing home or assisted living community provides a meaningful and rewarding experience. By interacting regularly with residents, you will have the opportunity to brighten their day and make a positive impact on their lives while experiencing personal fulfillment in return. **GENERAL DESCRIPTION:** Under the direct supervision of the Food Service Supervisor/Manager assists with food preparation and serving for elders, staff and customers. **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:** EDUCATION: Must be able to read, speak and write English. Must be able to make simple math calculations. Previous cooking experience preferred. **ESSENTIALS OF JOB:** 1. Serves food selections according to requests and/or diet orders. (frequently) 2. Sets up tables, buses tables and resets tables. (Ware – frequently; AL – occasionally) 3. Maintains clean and sanitized work areas. (constantly) 4. Must be able to commit the time necessary from an attendance and punctuality standpoint to accomplish the above specified Essentials of Job. (constantly)
