This role works closely with customers, sales teams, customer service, and accounting to maintain strong business relationships while supporting the company's cash flow objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused approach to collections and account management. * * * ## Key Responsibilities - Review and analyze customer credit applications and financial information to establish appropriate credit limits. - Monitor customer account activity and assess ongoing credit risk. - Manage collections activities to reduce aging and improve cash flow. - Communicate professionally with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment arrangements. - Research and resolve billing discrepancies, deductions, and payment disputes. - Maintain accurate customer account records and collection notes. - Prepare aging reports and provide recommendations to management regarding credit exposure. - Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting teams to resolve account issues efficiently. - Reconcile customer accounts and assist with month-end reporting activities. - Support continuous improvement initiatives within credit and collections processes. * * * ## Qualifications ### Required - 2+ years of experience in credit, collections, accounts receivable, or a related financial role. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. ### Preferred - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; - Experience working with ERP systems. - Knowledge of commercial credit analysis and financial statement review. - Experience in a manufacturing, furniture, consumer products, or distribution environment. * * * ## Why Join Elements International?
