The County Nurse Manager collaborates with healthcare providers, community partners, local organizations, and district leadership to assess community health needs, strengthen public health initiatives, and improve the overall health of the community. **Work Schedule:** Monday, 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.; Tuesday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. - Provide leadership, supervision, and support to professional clinical and administrative staff. - Plan, implement, manage, and evaluate public health programs and clinical services. - Monitor program performance, staffing, budgets, and fiscal processes to ensure efficient operations. - Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, clinical standards, and organizational policies. - Promote quality assurance and continuous quality improvement initiatives. - Develop and maintain partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, schools, and other stakeholders to strengthen public health initiatives. - Assess community health needs and collaborate with leadership to develop strategies that improve health outcomes. - Participate in emergency preparedness and public health response activities as needed. - Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that supports employee development and exceptional customer service. Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of nursing experience and completion of a PHN course within one year of hire and current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license and CPR certification; **OR** Two (2) years of experience at the lower-level PH Registered Nurse Supervisor (HCP193) or position equivalent. **Preferred Qualifications** - Public Health nursing - Supervising professional clinical staff - Developing and managing budgets - Managing multiple public health programs - Quality assurance and continuous quality improvement - Building and maintaining community partnerships - Planning and delivering educational presentations - Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills **This position is subject to close at any time once a satisfactory applicant pool has been identifi…
