**Count Room Clerk** **Job Description** **Position Summary:** The Count Room Clerk is responsible for accurately counting, verifying, and recording cash and other monetary instruments in a secure environment. Monday - Friday from 10 am to 6 pm. **Key Responsibilities:** - Accurately count and verify cash, coins, and other monetary items - Maintain strict adherence to internal controls, procedures, and security protocols - Record and report totals with a high level of accuracy - Identify and report discrepancies or variances - Ensure all work is completed in compliance with regulatory requirements **Physical Requirements:** - Ability to stand for the majority of the shift - Frequent pushing, pulling, and bending - Ability to lift and move items as needed - Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods **Qualifications:** - Prior experience in banking, cash handling, or the gaming industry preferred - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling money - Ability to work in a fast-paced, secure environment - High level of integrity and reliability **Licensing Requirements:** - Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) license preferred - Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an IGB license (assistance will be provided if not currently licensed)
