At Pyramid Healthcare New River Valley Inpatient in Radford, we specialize in Substance Use Disorder treatment. Pyramid Healthcare Inc. has been in operations since 1999 and we currently operate over 80 programs in 8 different states, offering a full continuum of high-quality behavioral health care for individuals suffering from substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and other behavioral health issues. If you would like to use your experience and education, to create a positive footprint at our new program, we invite you to apply to this wonderful opportunity. - Address: 6226 University Park Drive, Radford, VA - Schedule: Full time, 40 hours/week, in-person - Salary Range: $65,000/year - $85,000/year Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Facilitates group therapy, including preparation of materials, through research and construction of curriculum as needed. - Carrying a limited caseload as deemed necessary. - Communicating with referral sources and company representatives regularly to strengthen relationships and address concerns/problems. - Work closely to coordinate care with internal treatment providers regarding evaluation of client needs and/or medication management as appropriate. - Manages client files by conducting scheduled audits to ensure proper documentation is present and all licensing regulations are met. - Facilitates and attends weekly treatment team meetings. - Assists staff and program scheduling as needed. - As needed, conducts insurance reviews and assessments. - Supports with intake process with new clients into program as applicable. - Participates in on-call duties for the facility to assist line staff with client behavioral and emotional needs as applicable. - Oversees Family Programming including but not limited to the facilitation of psycho-educational programming as deemed appropriate. - Provide recommendations and assist in coordination of aftercare planning for clients. - Assist Clinical Supervisor/Clinical Director with clerical duties and any other duties as assigned. - Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regard to all company information - Completion of all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities. - Other duties as assigned. Education/Experience - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling - CSAC, LCSW, LPC, LSATP licensure or individuals under board-approved clinical supervision as a prerequisite to licensure - Current CPR, AED and First Aid preferred **Pyramid CORE Values:** We are committed and proud to live our CORE values and use them to inspire those around us.
