Under the supervision of the Corporations Program Manager, the incumbent is responsible for performing complex project coordination for the Travis County Corporations. This classification will provide a variety of complex organizational and analytical duties. The role responsibilities include but are not limited to managing one or more projects simultaneously; coordination of planning, scheduling, and analyzing related agreements as well as relevant data. This classification will provide routine analysis of project related information and participate in weekly informational exchanges that are vital for the advancement of projects with internal and external participants. This classification will successfully perform all assigned job responsibilities in support of the Travis County Corporations. Travis County Corporations is in the Economic Development and Strategic Investments (EDSI) Division of the Planning and & Budget Office and the position report to the Corporations Program Manager. This position works as part of team focused on economic development, strategic planning, investments and affordable housing. This division provides an array of professional services to the County to promote informed decision-making, providing project management and support for county economic development, real estate portfolio management, site redevelopment, and capital planning and investments. The goals of the division are to promote the efficient use of public resources, economic equity and create long-term value for Travis County through collaboration and innovation. **Distinguishing Characteristics** This is a job in the Professional Support job family. This position is distinguished by the amount of organization independence for both actions and decision-making and by the level of supervision, as well as the experience required. This classification will participate in project teams involving various levels of internal and external participants and collaborate to deliver results. This role will develop, maintain, and communicate project documentation, including schedules, milestones, notices, and corresponding budgets. This classification may require a flexible work schedule to meet the needs of the Travis County Corporations. - Manages one or more routine projects simultaneously, including planning, scheduling, and coordination during project requirements gathering, development, and implementation stages using established processed and methodologies. - Develops, maintain, and communicate project documentation, including project definition, schedules, notices, and corresponding budgets. Break projects into manageable tasks and set timeframes to meet all related internal, local, state, and federal deadlines. Monitor project progress and troubleshoot complications as necessary. - Works closely with Program Manager and Managing Director to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budget plans. Serve as a point of contact and participate in weekly informational exchanges with internal and external participants. - Participates in continuous review and update to ensure that processes meet changing operational needs. Identify processes for improvement, document existing processes, and identify and analyze gaps between current processes and the desired state. - Ensures completion of projects that are within budget/other resource constraints, meet project deadlines, and deliver quality results by developing contingency plans and quality assurance review of project deliverables. - Tracks, analyzes and documents budget obligations and balances. Use accounting portals for external financial entities to research and examine transactions on project related budgets and inform appropriate stakeholders as necessary. - Performs other job-related duties as assigned. **Education and Experience:** Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Public Administration, Business Administration or a directly related field AND two (2) yea…
