Job Description We are seeking an experienced IT Technician to serve as the operational owner of our IT environment. Reporting to the CISO, you will ensure secure, reliable technology operations for 250+ employees. You are expected to be a highly autonomous, customer-focused professional who maintains our security posture, proactively addresses operational issues, and delivers exceptional IT support. You will provide responsive technical support through virtual, phone, chat, and in-person interactions while delivering an exceptional employee experience. Responsibilities - IT Support / Help Desk - Manage help-desk tickets submitted via internal support ticket system, ensuring hardware and software requests are tracked through timely resolution. - Provide technical support to employees and troubleshoot hardware and/or software issues - Provide support and assistance for employees regarding IT issues through in-person, phone, email, Slack, and video conferencing - Communicate actions required and status updates to individuals, departments, or the entire organization when a broad or global issue arises. - Ensure reported issues are resolved in a timely manner, and escalate issues and recommended solutions to supervisor and appropriate stakeholders - Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, resolutions, system changes, and time entries within the ticketing system. - Maintain and prioritize the internal ticketing queue, ensuring critical issues are addressed immediately, and routine requests are managed efficiently within established SLAs - Software Management - Ensure proper onboarding and offboarding of users in corporate software systems is completed in a timely manner - Regularly audit (e.g., quarterly) corporate software systems to confirm or revise user access - Maintain an accurate inventory of installed and cloud-based software assets for employees and contractors, generating reports as needed. - Administer the organization’s Mobile Device Management (MDM) software and provide end-user support for enrolled devices. - Ensure continuous deployment and health of EDR/SOC agents across all endpoints. Conduct basic initial triage of alerts; escalate complex incidents - Hardware Management - - Inspect the use of technological equipment to ensure functionality - Procure approved hardware purchases following standardized procurement guidelines, install endpoint protection on devices, and ensure anti-virus/anti-malware/EDR endpoint security - Configure, deploy, maintain, and retire employee workstations, peripherals, and related hardware throughout the asset lifecycle. - Company Data & Device Security - - Execute established IT security policies and procedures while serving as the primary point of contact for endpoint security compliance.
