Ability to conversant in a broad range of legal topics impacting corporate transactions, including tax, intellectual property and employment. Strong communication and project management skills and ability to navigate fast-paced and fluid environments. Outstanding judgment and ability to identify, distill and manage complex issues quickly and effectively. About the job You're a talented corporate attorney who can work independently but collaboratively on a collegial team within a fast-paced legal department. You will be expected to support a variety of M&A, investment and other strategic corporate transactions, advising clients and stakeholders and managing key aspects of due diligence, drafting and execution. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Support a variety of M&A, investment and other strategic corporate transactions in a substantive fashion with a significant degree of independence. Work closely with Google’s corporate development team and cross-functional partners throughout the life cycle of each deal. Provide education and advice on corporate matters both within the legal department and across Google. Assist in developing legal strategy both on specific and across multiple transactions.
