Coordinates activities and functions of the Community and Continuing Education program. **Position can be either located at San Tan Campus or Superstition Mountain Campus.** - Develops schedules and teaches program curriculum and courses; recruits, screens, trains, and evaluates instructors and volunteers; provides resources and guidance to CME faculty; conducts registration’ completes community needs surveys; processes financial transactions; issues faculty assignments; and meets business office requirements per established District guidelines and policies. - Collaborates and assists CAC marketing staff with developing program marketing and promotional literature for distribution such as schedules, articles, newsletters, brochures, and flyers; develops course/enrollment data and maintains records for report preparation; and distributes promotional materials, letters, emails, schedules, brochures, and forms at various District events and locations. - Attends department staff meetings and participates in discussions regarding budgeting, strategic planning, schedule planning, problem-solving, goal setting, and continuous improvement; exchanges ideas and reports to ensure that schedule production has a consistent approach. - Visits targeted groups, businesses, and specific populations in order to recruit new and targeted groups of students; acts as a liaison for businesses and community organizations; communicates educational needs of these populations to the Director in order to facilitate the possible delivery of educational programming; may develop and/or facilitate business training and/or programming; and attends various events such as career and job fairs, high school visits and community activities. - Performs other duties commensurate with functions and level of position or as assigned. • Bachelor’s Degree OR • Associate’s degree and two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience. OR • (5) years of full-time, directly related, equivalent work experience as described above sufficient to successfully **Background Verification**: As a condition of employment, all candidates accepting an offer of employment for a full-time, part- time, temporary, student worker, or volunteer position, will be required to undergo a Background Verification. Employment with Central Arizona College is contingent upon the successful completion of the background verification. The level the background verification for this position is: Standard level. ***All applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position.*** • Knowledge of recruitment/admissions programs; instructional program planning, development, evaluation, and review. • Knowledge of office management, workflow procedures, project management, and budget administration. • Knowledge of recruitment/admissions programs; instructional program planning, development, evaluation, and review. • Knowledge of CAC resources and the surrounding community. • Skill in prioritizing, organizing, and managing a high-volume workload. • Skill in using multimedia equipment, computer systems, hardware, software, and website development tools. • Skill in collecting, analyzing, and presenting information orally and in writing. • Skill in effective communication and interaction with staff, faculty, students, community partners, and the public. • Skill in working effectively in a diverse, multi-ethnic, and multicultural environment. • Ability to build and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a key member of divisional and college-wide teams. • Ability to analyze situations, develop solutions, and make sound decisions within established guidelines. • Ability to develop and implement marketing and strategic plans in collaboration with CAC staff. • Ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks in a high-visibility, high-demand environment. • Ability to develop innovative programs,…
