Key Responsibilities: - Portion and serve food to facility residents - Cook food according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, and number of portions to be served - Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware - Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity ## Requirements Cook Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED - One year of kitchen or food preparation - Experience working with seniors is preferred - Knowledge of sanitation rules - Ability to understand recipes and calculate measurements - Ability to work with minimal supervision - Understanding or ability to learn the use of commercial kitchen equipment
