## Description Western Wisconsin Health is seeking a casual Cook (0.0 FTE) to join our Culinary Services department! The Eatery Cook prepares and cooks meals to order in a fast-paced environment for the Eatery. Patrons include but not limited to employees, visitors and the general public according to established recipes, policies and procedures. Both positions share responsibility in maintaining and cleaning the kitchen and Eatery. All of this is done to support the organization’s mission while living our values. **Shifts include:** - Available 7 days/week between 7am - 7pm - Rotating weekends and holidays ## Requirements **QUALIFICATIONS** *Western Wisconsin Health expects employees to understand and to incorporate the values of our organization in their day-to-day practice. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.* **Minimum Qualifications:** - Must be at least 16 years of age **Preferred Qualifications:** - 1+ months related experience in a restaurant or dietary capacity - Food safety training course completion **Other Qualifications:** - Ability to understand and apply the principles of special diets for patient food delivery - Ability to apply concepts of basic math, knowledgeable in basic food service equipment operation, safe food handling and sanitation - Working knowledge of portion sizes, ability to calculate figures and amounts such as recipe conversion, weights and measures, discounts, proportions, and volume - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) - High degree of personal hygiene - Ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions - Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business and patient information - Display and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards - Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills - Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently **ABOUT WESTERN WISCONSIN HEALTH** Western Wisconsin Health is an integrated hospital and family practice clinic located in Western Wisconsin, just 30 minutes from downtown St. Paul on I-94.
