Work #LikeABosch • Reinvent yourself: At Bosch, you will evolve. • Discover new directions: At Bosch, you will find your place. • Balance your life: At Bosch, your job matches your lifestyle. • Celebrate success: At Bosch, we celebrate you. • Be yourself: At Bosch, we value values. • Shape tomorrow: At Bosch, you change lives. ## Job Description Job Description **$4,000 Sign On Bonus Offered!** As a PLC Controls Technician, you will design, program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-controlled systems using Siemens S7 and TIA Portal, while supporting manufacturing operations through advanced diagnostics, system improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency. **This is a direct-hire opportunity.** **Benefits of the PLC Controls Technician** - 401k - 401k Matching - Health insurance - Dental insurance - Vision insurance - Paid vacation Shift Options: 2nd shift: Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm 3rd shift: Mon-Fri 10pm-6am C Shift: Sat-Mon 5am-5pm D Shift: Sat-Mon 5pm-5am \*Overtime may be required based on business needs **Principal Responsibilities:** - Design, program, and maintain PLC systems in accordance with corporate standards - Develop and support HMI applications for manufacturing equipment - Troubleshoot complex equipment and automation issues to determine root causes and implement corrective actions - Modify PLC programs and interface communications with industrial devices - Diagnose and resolve issues with vision systems, including Cognex and Keyence - Troubleshoot and maintain servo drive systems, particularly Rexroth and Siemens platforms - Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to improve equipment performance and reliability - Support mechanical troubleshooting and assist with general maintenance tasks as needed - Identify programming issues and communicate findings to Controls Engineers - Provide feedback to Engineering on recurring issues and opportunities for system improvements - Maintain a proactive approach to learning new technologies and improving technical skills - Proficient in troubleshooting, repairing and/or replacing different type of sensors, machine safety systems and measurement systems and devices like Kistlers - Proficient in basic programming, manipulating, maintaining and troubleshooting robotics, with emphasis on FANUC robots. ## Qualifications **Required Qualifications:** - Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) - 3+ years of experience in industrial automation and maintenance - Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions - Working knowledge of PLC programming languages (IEC 61131-3), including Ladder Logic (LAD), Function Block Diagram (FBD), Structured Control Language (SCL), Statement List (STL), and GRAPH - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints - Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with electrical servicing and installations - Effective communication and teamwork skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities - Experience troubleshooting vision systems (Cognex, Keyence) - Experience with servo drive systems, including Rexroth and Siemens platforms **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with Siemens Step 7 and TIA Portal - PLC and Robotics experience.
