If you’re looking for more than just a job and want to be part of a team that values craftsmanship, safety, and people, we invite you to explore opportunities with Odessa Separator. **GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:** The Controller is responsible for the overall management of the accounting function, including financial reporting, month-end close, inventory accounting, cost accounting, internal controls, audit coordination, treasury support, and ERP system administration. The Controller partners closely with operations, purchasing, manufacturing, and executive leadership to ensure accurate financial information, strong internal controls, and effective decision support for a growing manufacturing organization. **SPECIFIC TASKS AND DUTIES** 1. Lead all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and financial reporting. 2. Manage and continuously improve the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process. 3. Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements and management reporting packages. 4. Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies. 5. Oversee inventory accounting, physical inventories, cycle count programs, inventory reserves, and reconciliation processes. 6. Manage standard costing, job costing, labor absorption, overhead allocation, and cost variance analysis. 7. Work closely with manufacturing and operations teams to improve costing accuracy and financial visibility. 8. Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. 9. Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary contact for external auditors. 10. Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy. 11. Support banking relationships, borrowing-base reporting, covenant compliance, and cash forecasting. 12. Provide leadership and development for accounting and finance staff. 13. Serve as the accounting lead for ERP implementation, optimization, and ongoing system improvements. 14. Develop KPIs and reporting tools to improve operational and financial performance. 15.
