Contracts Specialist (FAR/DFAR/ITAR experience)

FlexStaff is seeking a **Contracts Specialis**t with experience with FAR/DFARS and ITAR regulations to work for one of our clients, an electronics manufacturer, located in Melville, NY. This is a permanent, full-time job. **Qualifications:** - 5+ years contract management experience in defense manufacturing industry - Experience with large, complex multifaceted electronics design & manufacturing environment - Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations and understanding of the role of procurement in complex industries. - Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations and of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation) and EAR (Export Administration Regulation) - Understanding of subcontractor solicitations and bid analysis/process. - CostPoint and Salesforce experience a plus **RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Review contracts to ensure pricing, delivery schedules, specifications, and terms align with quotations. - Maintain and reconcile backlog, bookings, and sales reports. - Update Salesforce and reconcile data against bookings reports. - Maintain customer, supplier, and sales rep records in the ERP system. - Monitor customer and supplier portals, including certifications, representations, invoicing, purchase orders, and RFQs. - Support contract closeout, including final billing, retainage, and disposition of customer-furnished material. - Coordinate with internal teams on licensing requirements and daily operational issues. - Prepare export shipping documents and coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and customers. - Support FSO with visitor requests, compliance screening, and visitor log updates for final approval. - \*Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
