The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) is seeking a Contracts Administrator I to assist with procurement and contract administration activities in the Contracts Administration Department. This position provides an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to develop expertise in public procurement and contract administration while supporting procurements from solicitation through contract award and closeout. The Contracts Administrator I will assist with ensuring compliance with procurement policies and applicable regulations and collaborate with project managers, legal counsel, finance staff, vendors, and other stakeholders on a variety of contracting and purchasing activities. If you have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an interest in learning procurement and contract administration in a collaborative, mission-driven environment, we encourage you to apply. The Contracts Administration Department procures various goods and services (professional services and analytical support for various vendors and consultants) to assist staff with implementing various regional planning initiatives.
