**Position Summary** The Contract Administrator is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of government and commercial contracts in compliance with federal regulations and company policies. Under general supervision, this role ensures contractual obligations are met, risks are mitigated, and business objectives are achieved. The Contract Administrator must possess strong coordinating and organization skills and the ability to prioritize ever changing customer requirements. Duties to include proposal development, including review of solicitation requirements (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs), assist in pricing strategy and contract risk assessment, identify terms that may pose financial, legal, or operational risks, maintenance of accurate proposal records, documentation, and correspondence. Post Award Administration duties include being the primary point of contact for contractual matters with customers and internal stakeholders, maintenance of accurate contract records, documentation, and correspondence, management of contract changes, modifications, and claims, management of product returns, repairs and warranty claims, and assurance proper documentation for audits and compliance reviews. **Responsibilities** - Ensure safety is the foundation of daily work through vigilance and accountability - Customer service, communications and relationship management for assigned accounts - Contract management, administration, and compliance including negotiation and management of scope of work, terms and conditions, LTA’s, non-disclosure agreements, ongoing compliance, changes, etc. - Monitor, management, and resolution of directed changes, cancellations, terminations, and associated claims - Order acknowledgement, processing, modifications, and maintenance of contract files - Support functional departments as necessary to meet customer requirements - Prepare, submit, and manage RFPs/RFQs including qualifying opportunities, strategy development, cost estimating, pricing strategy, management approvals, submittals, follow-ups, and closing - Coordinate product returns, repairs, and warranty claims - Coordinates customer visits and meetings **Minimum Qualifications** - High School Diploma or GED equivalent and relevant work experience - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Strong organizational and prioritization skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Effective management of multiple fluctuating priorities and varying deadlines - Team player who can also work independently - Thrives in high pressure environment **Preferred Qualifications** - Bachelor’s Degree (Business preferred) OR - Associate’s Degree and 2 years of experience in sales or customer service - Previous Contract Administration/Customer Service Experience - Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, CUI and ITAR - The ideal candidate will function with a sense of urgency, managing tasks effectively, despite sudden deadlines and changing priorities RBC Bearings Incorporated (NYSE: RBC/RBCP) is a leading international manufacturer of highly engineered precision bearings, components and essential systems for the industrial, defense and aerospace industries.
