## Description **JOB SUMMARY** The CONTRACTOR RECRUITER I is responsible for managing all contractor needs for the assigned project, including sourcing, evaluation, compliance, and onboarding, exercising independent judgment and discretion in contractor selection, compliance determinations, and onboarding decisions. This role reports to the Director of Field Services. This role has final decision-making authority over contractor sourcing strategy, evaluation outcomes, and compliance determinations for the assigned project, and is accountable for the results of those decisions. **JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1. CONTRACTOR SOURCING AND PIPELINE DEVELOPMENT: Proactively research and identify qualified contractors in paving, roofing, HVAC, and other relevant trade disciplines within an assigned region; independently determine sourcing strategy and priorities for the project; build and maintain a pipeline of prospective contractors by leveraging online resources, industry networks, and referrals. 2. CONTRACTOR SCREENING AND EVALUATION: Conduct initial interviews and assessments to evaluate contractor qualifications, capacity, and experience, exercise independent judgement to approve or reject contractors for engagement on the project. 3. COMPLIANCE AND DOCUMENTATION REVIEW: Review contractor certifications, insurance, and compliance documentation and independently determine whether contractors meet industry and company standards, including final approval or denial based on that assessment. 4. ONBOARDING SUPPORT: Support the onboarding process, including documentation collection, system setup, and coordination of standard contract paperwork; serve as a point of contact for routine contractor inquiries. 5. MARKET AWARENESS AND COLLABORATION: Maintain awareness of industry trends and contractor availability within assigned region; use market insights to shape contractor sourcing strategy and collaborate with internal teams to align contractor engagement with project needs. 6. TRAVEL AND FIELD ENGAGEMENT: Travel as needed (up to 15%) to meet contractors and attend local industry events within the assigned region. 7. PERFORMS OTHER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AS ASSIGNED. **EQUIPMENT OPERATED:** General office equipment (computer, dual monitors, phone, printer). **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:** - Knowledge of contractor certifications, insurance, and compliance requirements for the industry. - Ability to support standard contract documentation and coordination. - Ability to source contractors within an assigned trade or region using established sourcing methods. - Ability to exercise independent judgement and discretion in evaluating, approving, and managing contractors with minimal oversight. - Ability to work proactively with general guidance from senior staff. - Ability to efficiently manage time, prioritizing multiple initiatives and adapting to unplanned activities. - Ability to consistently meet tasks and project commitments. - Ability to source contractors in a timely manner. - Ability to track and report on recruiting metrics and other related KPIs. - Ability to deliver exceptional customer service to all stakeholders. - Ability to successfully collaborate with all stakeholders. - Ability to serve as a trusted point of contact for routine contractor inquiries. - Ability to utilize Salesforce for data entry. - Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. - Skilled in verbal and written communication. - Skilled in organization and planning. ## Requirements **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**: High school diploma or equivalent, PLUS Minimum of one (1) year of experience in contractor recruiting, staffing, sales support, or another related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field. **Special Qualifications** Must pass a criminal background check.
