What we’re looking for: Marker is seeking a proactive professional who can balance legal considerations with business objectives, manage competing priorities, and drive continuous improvement of contract governance, processes, and systems. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and managing Marker's contracting function. As the primary steward of contract governance and administration, you will have direct visibility to executive leadership, influence key business decisions, and help build scalable contracting processes that support organizational growth while protecting the company's interests. Core Responsibilities Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements, including client, vendor, subcontractor, consulting, and confidentiality agreements. Serve as the central point of contact for all contract-related activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and approval processes. Manage the full contract lifecycle, including intake, drafting, negotiation, execution, amendments, renewals, and record retention. Maintain contract templates, clause libraries, and standardized processes to support consistency and efficiency. Identify and mitigate contractual risks while partnering with the General Counsel and business leaders to support organizational objectives. Oversee contract repositories, document control, and electronic signature processes. Support audits, compliance initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts related to contract governance and administration. Collaborate with operations, finance, HR, project teams, and leadership to provide contract guidance and drive process improvements. Key Skills and Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or commercial contracting. Experience drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial agreements. Knowledge of contract lifecycle management, risk mitigation, and contract governance. Proficiency with contract management systems, DocuSign, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage confidential information and multiple priorities effectively. Preferred: Experience in construction, healthcare, professional services, engineering, manufacturing, or related industries. Experience supporting compliance, governance, or legal operations functions.
