**Consumer Lending Specialist** **Compensation:** $21.00 – $26.00 (Depending on Experience) **Join Our Team as a Consumer Lending Specialist** Are you passionate about helping people achieve their financial goals? As a **Consumer Lending Specialist**, you will play a vital role in assisting members throughout the lending process-from application to loan closing-while ensuring compliance with lending guidelines and delivering exceptional member service. **What You'll Do** As a Consumer Lending Specialist, you will: - Assist members with consumer loan applications through phone, email, and online communication channels. - Review and process loan applications accurately and efficiently. - Submit completed loan applications to the underwriting team. - Collect and organize supporting documentation requested by underwriters. - Analyze credit bureau reports to identify additional lending opportunities. - Assist with opening new member accounts related to Indirect and Gravity Loan programs. - Partner closely with underwriters to coordinate loan closings and funding. - Ensure all loans are processed according to established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. - Maintain reports and documentation as requested by management. - Provide consistent follow-up throughout the lending process to ensure an excellent member experience. - Deliver exceptional service while building and maintaining positive member relationships. **What We're Looking For** **Required Skills & Qualifications** - Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities. - Excellent verbal, written, and active listening skills. - Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a high-volume environment. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel. - Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities. - Self-motivated and driven to achieve results. - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. **Education & Experience** - High school diploma or GED required. - Minimum of two (2) years of consumer lending experience required. - Retail sales experience preferred. **Physical Requirements** - Ability to sit for extended periods of time. - Ability to use a computer and related office equipment for extended periods. - Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. **Why Join Us?** At TENCU, we are committed to helping our members achieve financial success while fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture.
