Job Title: Consultant Histopathologist Grade: Consultant Location: Southwest Working Hours: Full-time, 10 PAs (with flexibility for part-time applicants) Salary: £105,504 – £139,882 per annum About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant Histopathologist to join our dynamic team at a client based in one of the most beautiful regions of the UK. Requirements Full registration and licence to practise with the GMC and be on the Specialist Register in Histopathology (or be eligible within six months of interview) UK-trained applicants must hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or be within six months of award by the date of interview FRCPath (Part 1 and Part 2) Typical Job Plan Clinical Duties: Reporting on a wide range of histopathology specimens, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, and providing expert advice to clinical colleagues Teaching and Training: Involvement in the training and supervision of junior medical staff and participation in departmental teaching sessions Research and Development: Encouragement to engage in research activities and contribute to the development of the department On-call Commitment: Participation in the on-call rota as required About the Department The Histopathology Department is a well-established unit with a team of highly skilled consultants and support staff.
