If you're dependable, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and enjoy working as part of a team, we'd love to meet you. **Position Summary** The Construction Technician performs a variety of residential and commercial construction tasks associated with restoration and reconstruction projects. This position works alongside Project Managers, Construction Coordinators, and Superintendents to complete projects safely, efficiently, and with the highest level of quality. Depending on experience and skill level, technicians may perform rough and finish carpentry, drywall installation and finishing, painting, flooring installation, trim work, cabinetry, and general repairs. Additional experience in roofing, tile, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC is a plus. Above all, Construction Technicians represent the company professionally while delivering outstanding workmanship and customer service. **Primary Responsibilities** - Perform construction and reconstruction work according to project scope and company standards. - Complete rough and finish carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, trim, and general repairs. - Assist with demolition, framing, repairs, and finishing work as needed. - Identify and complete punch list items to ensure customer satisfaction. - Assist with project scheduling and daily job progress. - Pick up, transport, and organize materials and supplies. - Coordinate material deliveries when necessary. - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site. - Document daily progress, job notes, photos, and required documentation using the ManageIT Mobile App. - Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Construction Coordinators, subcontractors, and customers. - Assist with subcontractor coordination and quality control inspections. - Ensure all work complies with company standards, project specifications, and local building codes. - Identify work outside the original scope and communicate it promptly. - Participate in final walkthroughs and assist with project closeout documentation. - Secure customer completion and satisfaction signatures when requested. - Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every phase of the project. **Qualifications** - High school diploma or GED required. - Previous construction, remodeling, restoration, or skilled trades experience preferred. - Experience with hand and power tools. - Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. - Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform physically demanding work. - Comfortable working on ladders and in varying indoor and outdoor conditions. **Preferred Skills** Experience in one or more of the following is highly valued: - Rough or finish carpentry - Drywall installation and finishing - Painting - Hardwood, laminate, LVP, or tile flooring - Cabinet installation - Roofing - Plumbing - Electrical - HVAC - Restoration or insurance repa…
