Construction Site Laborer

Position: Multifamily Construction Site Laborer Reports to: Superintendent Compensation and benefits: $25/hr, eligible for overtime; comprehensive benefits package, with health, dental, and vision insurances, life and long-term disability insurance, PTO, paid company holidays, and 401(k) with company match. Multifamily Construction Site Laborer (Laborer) assists in building high-density residential properties, specifically apartments. This specialized role focuses heavily on repeated room layouts, extensive detail and finishing work, and finalizing punch list work. framing assistance, and multi-story material staging. Core Responsibilities Multi-Floor Staging: Carry heavy building materials across multi-story units without elevators. Repetitive Cleanup: Keep individual apartment units free of debris for sequential trades. Trade Support: Assist framing and drywall crews with layout repetition across identical units. Site Protection: Install protective coverings on finished tubs, countertops, and flooring. Material Sorting: Organize massive bulk shipments of appliances, fixtures, and doors. Safety Enforcement: Maintain clear egress paths and fire lanes in high-density corridors. Final Detailing: Assist with final punch-list items, including trashouts and caulking. Required Skills & Qualifications Physical Stamina: Capability to climb stairs repeatedly while carrying heavy loads. Lifting Capacity: Ability to safely lift and maneuver up to 75 pounds. Spatial Awareness: Sharp focus to work safely in crowded, high-density environments. Teamwork: Ability to collaborate closely with different subcontractors every day.
