## Job Description **Dewberry** is currently seeking a **Construction Manager** for its **Denver, CO** office. The **Construction Manager** position will be responsible for the management of utility, heavy civil, vertical building, water, and wastewater project and design construction oversight in the Denver/Northern Colorado area. The CM will perform tasks such as on-site project/construction management, construction inspection, project coordination, project controls, and contract administration. The Senior Resident Engineer must be flexible, client focused, and capable of working independently under the supervision of the department manager. A strong understanding of engineering and construction principles is essential, as is the ability to manage project budgets, costs, and proposals effectively. You will be expected to ensure strict compliance with all standard safety practices and procedures while maintaining effective working relationships with employees, clients, other agencies, and the public. In addition, a host of discounted purchase programs are available to all employees. ## Responsibilities - Project Oversight and Management: Monitor contractor operations to ensure compliance with contract plans, specifications, and obligations. Coordinate and schedule various phases of construction inspections and oversee traffic control, SWMP implementation, and permit compliance. - Collaboration and Communication: Take a proactive approach to identifying and resolving field issues and conflicts in coordination with the project team and supervisors. Work collaboratively with owners, designers, contractors, and other key stakeholders. - Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and process comprehensive project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, field directives, and change orders. Document all field activities using modern technology like CM cloud-based software, GNSS/GIS mapping, and aerial drones.
