## Arora Engineers, LLC is a multidisciplinary engineering firm specializing in mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), fire protection, life safety systems, and low-voltage technologies supporting aviation, transportation, government, and institutional facilities. Arora may serve as the prime Architect-Engineer (A/E) firm for the program and may also coordinate with outside consulting engineers, specialty consultants, construction managers, and other project delivery partners as required. Arora Engineers is seeking a Construction Manager to manage a portfolio of United States Postal Service (USPS) construction projects delivered under Program Management Service Contracts. This position serves as the owner-facing construction management lead responsible for coordinating multiple general contractors, Construction Management, design disciplines, consulting engineers, USPS stakeholders, and internal Arora departments to support safe, timely, cost-effective, and contract-compliant project delivery. ## **Overall Responsibility** The Construction Manager provides construction management direction for existing and new USPS projects, acting as the primary liaison among the client, Arora, consulting engineers, general contractors, and project stakeholders. This role protects the client’s and Company’s interests while maintaining productive working relationships and ensuring projects are delivered with appropriate quality, schedule control, cost control, risk management, and contractual compliance. The Construction Manager is responsible for day-to-day construction-phase leadership across multiple concurrent projects, including coordination of design-phase constructability input, procurement support, field execution, change management, progress reporting, quality oversight, commissioning coordination, closeout, and claims avoidance. ## Essential Functions - Manage multiple concurrent USPS construction projects on time. - Serve as Arora’s construction management lead and owner representative for assigned projects. - Coordinate with USPS representatives, Arora project managers, internal A/E disciplines, consulting engineers, specialty consultants, general contractors, inspectors, commissioning agents, and other stakeholders. - Direct and monitor contractor performance related to scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety coordination, change management, documentation, and closeout. - Review construction schedules, recovery schedules, look-ahead schedules, milestone updates, and contractor progress reports; identify schedule risks and recommend corrective action. - Lead or support construction progress meetings, partnering sessions, issue-resolution meetings, coordination meetings, and stakeholder briefings. - Review RFIs, submittals, field reports, meeting minutes, inspection records, change proposals, pay applications, closeout documentation, and other construction-phase deliverables. - Coordinate responses to RFIs and field issues with Arora design disciplines and outside consulting engineers to ensure timely, coordinated, and contractually appropriate direction. - Support constructability reviews, phasing reviews, logistics planning, operational continuity planning, and bid/procurement phase coordination. - Evaluate contractor change order requests, cost proposals, time extension requests, and contract modification packages; develop recommendations for client review and approval. - Support cost control activities, including budget tracking, contingency tracking, independent cost review, invoice review, payment recommendation, and change order forecasting. - Monitor contractor quality control and construction compliance with drawings, specifications, USPS requirements, applicable codes, safety requirements, and approved submittals. - Coordinate site observations, punch lists, substantial completion inspections, final inspections, commissioning activities, warranty items, and turnover documentation. - Maintain project records in designate…
