As a Construction Logistics Specialist IV, you will play a critical role in coordinating construction activities across multiple airport projects to minimize operational impacts and maintain safe, efficient airport operations. Working alongside project managers, contractors, airport operations, utility teams, and stakeholders, you will help identify and mitigate construction conflicts, improve project coordination, and support the successful delivery of complex aviation infrastructure projects. About Your Role The Construction Logistics Specialist IV supports the Coordination and Logistics Management (CALM) team by coordinating construction activities between airport operations and multiple concurrent capital improvement projects. This position is responsible for collecting, organizing, and reviewing project phasing, logistics plans, schedules, and construction activities to identify potential conflicts before work begins. The successful candidate will evaluate project sequencing, utility shutdowns, barricades, tenant impacts, and construction logistics while collaborating with project teams to develop proactive solutions that reduce operational disruptions. This role requires exceptional communication, coordination, and organizational skills to ensure project information is accurately conveyed among stakeholders and construction activities are aligned with airport operational requirements. Education Requirements - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, or a closely related technical field is required. - Master's degree is preferred. What You'll Need to Get the Job Done - Minimum of twenty (20) years of professional experience supporting complex construction programs, preferably within airport facilities or similarly complex infrastructure environments. - Experience coordinating multiple concurrent construction projects while minimizing operational impacts. - Strong understanding of construction logistics, project phasing, sequencing, and construction delivery methods. - Ability to identify construction conflicts and develop practical mitigation strategies. - Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings, schedules, maps, Gantt charts, and technical documentation. - Knowledge of airport operations, utility shutdown coordination, barricade planning, and tenant impact management is highly preferred. - Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple high-profile assignments. - Strong written, verbal, editing, proofreading, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail. - Knowledge of wayfinding concepts, mapping technologies, and digital information management. - Experience combining and formatting multiple digital document types into concise, professional reports and presentations. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint. - Experience using Bluebeam Revu. - Collaborative team player committed to information sharing and cross-functional communication. - Ability to successfully pass a federal background investigation.
