Construction Lead/Planner

We pride ourselves on maintaining a small company feel. This is a logistical support position to the Maintenance/Engineering Department. This position assists in the capital project construction and maintenance construction through planning, scheduling of resources and the requisitioning of material. **Position Qualifications:** This requires High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; a BS degree in an engineering or technical field is preferred. Requires 5 years' experience in maintenance, construction, or operations, or assessed as qualified by the Assistant Maintenance Manager and or the Maintenance / Engineering Manager. This requires excellent communication (written and verbal) and organization skills. Requires a working knowledge of mechanical repairs, welding practices, pipefitting, carpentry, instrumentation and electrical. Must have experience with Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word. Working knowledge of Primavera planning software is preferred. This requires successful completion of training requirements as outlined by the Maintenance Department. Must have successfully completed and passed a Functional Job Capacity Evaluation (FCE). **Responsibilities Include the Following:** - Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace at all times - Keep safe work habits as the highest priority at all times - Strive to develop good working relationships with all co-workers, customers and associates - Generate and distribute departmental reports - Maintain equipment files - Maintain master data and records in SAP - Analyze SAP work orders pertaining to construction work for manpower, material and equipment requirements - Assure proper coding of SAP work orders - Maintain work order backlog and work order status - Requisition material and services - Coordinate work between different crafts and planner groups - Liaison between Operations, Maintenance / Engineering and contractors to assure proper permitting and scheduling of work - Verify completion of work orders and document services and repairs - Plan and develop daily work schedules for ERI Crafts and Contractors - Coordinate unit shutdown and Turnaround (TAR) planning and scheduling activities - Generate piping, alteration and repair (PAR) Checklists - Responsible for grounds maintenance - Assist with various tasks as needed and directed by Assistant Maintenance Manager - Available for callout by Maintenance / Engineering Department Ergon Refining, Inc. is an EEO/AAP employer.
