Beyond the jobsite, we invest in the communities we call home, strengthening the places where we live, work, and build. **Job Summary** Responsible for supporting the execution of work in the field to include, supporting field teams with Safety, closeout and punch-list items, and supporting the logistical needs of the field leadership team and trade partners with the day-to-day completion of their assigned tasks. The Field Technician should be a flexible, detail-oriented individual that will thrive performing in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with the ability to multi-task, produce quality deliverables, and meet project-based deadlines. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** All duties and responsibilities include the following, however, other duties may be assigned. To perform in this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - Utilize independent judgement, problem-solving ability, and prioritization based on relevant factors - Good communication skills to articulate challenges and success stories to internal and external clients - Tracks and assists with closing out project punch list items and/or identified quality issues with completed work - Supports Trade Partners and the project team with logistical items during work activiteis to include clean up, lay down operations, scheduling, tools, material, and equipment sourcing, - Informs Superintendent of any quality deficiencies - Study and analyze construction drawings and shop drawings to confirm or otherwise establish the planned layout dimensions and elevations for the project - Inform Superintendent of any variations in the project dimensions and elevations, and assist company and subcontractor personnel to (1) understand the layout, and (2) identify the precise locations of the elements being installed - Other functions as may be required or assigned by Project Superintendent or other authorized individual, including making suggestions of alternative construction methods and techniques, and/or developing interpretations of vague or conflicting information, etc. - Ability to quickly learn new hardware/software tools - Serve as an ambassador for efforts and services internally/externally and collaborate with project teams - Travel up to 50% of the time, to various construction sites; plan and execute multiple projects daily - Ability to work flexible hours due to project or site constraints, including occasional early, late, or weekend hours **Management Responsibilities** None **Knowledge/Skills/Ability** The ability to work closely with the field team to learn the superintendent roles and responsibilities. Good people and leadership skills directing labor and working with trade partners. Problem solving skills and the ability to work towards finding a solution to the problems.
