Gunster is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to work full time in its West Palm Beach office. The Conflicts Analyst will run conflicts checks using the firm’s file opening software, perform conflict searches to identify potential conflicts of interest, and update conflict information as required. The position will update and maintain digital records, perform data entry, process information, and provide customer service to support the file opening and intake process. It will also provide backup support to the Records Admin Clerk by reviewing and verifying engagement letters, approving non-Gunster engagement letters submitted for approval, assisting with proper party alignments and party status for new potential file openings, and approving appropriate changes to administrative tasks, including attorney assignments, matter names, scope, and intake. Qualified candidates will have customer service and problem-solving skills, Windows-based computer skills, the ability to type 40 words per minute, and logical and analytical thinking skills. Candidates must be detail oriented, able to work independently and prioritize within time constraints, exercise sound judgment in reaching procedurally correct solutions, and communicate professionally with high-level individuals.
