Concessions Attendant

- Responsible for opening and/or closing the Racing Snack Bar in accordance with operating procedures, safety and sanitation regulations and cash control policies and procedures. - Prepares dishes up and serves food and beverage menu items offered at the snack bar according to established recipes and procedures. - Requires knowledge, skills, and experience in accurately handling various forms of cash transactions, decision-making, problem solving, complaint resolution, and customer service. - Follows all operating procedures, safety and sanitation regulations and departmental policies and procedures. - Ensures appearance of Snack Bar and work areas are maintained in a clean and functional manner. - Notifies appropriate staff members when assistance is needed. - Demonstrates an upbeat and outgoing demeanor while on duty. - Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols. - Promotes outstanding customer relations. - Performs other related duties as may be assigned by reporting senior **Education:** - High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical school or formal apprenticeship may be required. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** - Requires knowledge and skills needed to safely prepare and serve food items in accordance with internal policies and external regulations and/or laws. - Requires knowledge and skills needed to safely prepare and serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with internal policies and external regulations and/or laws. - Requires the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, inventory control systems, foodproduction/storage systems, sanitation systems, etc. - Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel. - Strong written and oral communication skills required. - Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists. - Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form **Licenses/Certifications/Other:** - Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency if applicable to perform the essential job functions - Must be able to obtain an Oklahoma Gaming License - Oklahoma Horse Racing License - Must be able to obtain an ABLE Commission and ServSafe Licenses -
