Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following: - Be familiar with various types of electronics; such as: computers, printers, monitors, cables, and stereo equipment. - Knowledgeable of repairable, re-sellable or scrap donated electronics to sort, stack, price, and repair. - Moving, stacking and checking pallets of materials around the facility. - Install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot and evaluate computers and other network equipment. - Maintaining inventory stock. Clean shelves, counters, and tables. - Perform other duties as assigned. **Competencies** Ability to work independently and efficiently to manage workflow through the department. **Education and/or Experience** **** High school diploma and two years’ experience desired in computer hardware and troubleshooting. **Language Skills** Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, consumers, customers, and the general public. **Computer Skills** Extensive knowledge and skills in computer hardware, Windows OS, Linux, Mac, troubleshooting, and Microsoft Office Suite. **** **Other Skills and Abilities** Bilingual skills a plus. **** **Other Qualifications** **** Must be focused and work well without close supervision, strong attention to detail, and the ability to connect with a wide variety of customers. **Physical Demands** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
