Aspire Allergy & Sinus is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented candidate to join our team as a **Compounding Pharmacy Technician** in our on-site allergy lab. This Non-retail pharmacy technician position will support Aspire's internal medical providers and patients across the nation by compounding a variety of unique/patient-specific allergy treatments. Candidates must work well independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. **Location** 5929 Balcones Dr #200, Austin, TX 78731 **Schedule** Monday - Thursday: 8AM -5 PM Friday: 8AM- 12PM Half-days! ### Key Responsibilities - Use of compounding equipment to combine allergen mixtures into the appropriate dosage as listed in the corresponding prescription - Use our custom prescription tracking software and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to track prescriptions and update/maintain patient account information - Collaborate with our patient services and clinical staff to ensure patient satisfaction - Ensure a safe and clean environment by setting up and sanitizing your workstation - Follow all safety procedures and guidelines for preparation of compounds - Monitor and maintain compounding equipment - Assist with packing and shipping patient outbound packages - Use an automated shipping system to coordinate shipments and track packages - Assist with maintaining inventory levels for raw production materials and shipping supplies - Take part in relevant training as well as educational programs - Follow all HIPAA rules and regulations including confidentiality of patient information ### Skills, Knowledge and Expertise - A detailed oriented individual with a positive attitude who enjoys a challenging environment - A focused work ethic - Strong knowledge of standards and all relevant USP compounding guidelines is a plus - Must be able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment - Proficient with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Prescription Management software systems and standard office equipment. ### Requirements - Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPht) or Texas State (RPhT) is required - High School diploma or GED is required ### Benefits - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance - Generous Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays - 1 Half-Day a Week - 401(k) + Generous Employer Match - Life Insurance - Parking Onsite - Reward Program ...
