Complex Electromechancial Systems Test Technician Shift 4A-(Monday-Thursday) **JOB PURPOSE** Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams. Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment. Develops methods, processes, procedures and equipment that will improve the failure analysis process and/or reduce failures. May assist Test Engineering to design, develop, and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. **NATURE OF WORK**: To D-bug complex electronic assemblies to component level using various equipment including but not limited to o'scopes, meters, computer controlled test equipment. Test complex boards and assemblies using test processes and procedures. Must be able to read and interpret electronic schematics and assembly drawings. Must be able to work closely with engineers. **EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE** Associates degree or military equivalent in electronic technology. Minimum 2-4 years experience \*\*EEO Employer Vets/Disabled
