## Caregiver & Companion Opportunity We are looking for a capable and compassionate caregiver and companion to work with clients in a professional, respectful, and caring manner. The ideal candidate is patient, friendly, and an excellent communicator who can follow instructions and assist clients in a variety of ways throughout the Roxbury, Hyde Park, Jamaica Plain, Mattapan, and Dorchester areas. ## Responsibilities - Assist clients with medication reminders - Support clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside, including doctor's appointments and walks - Assist with personal care and hygiene - Plan and prepare meals with client involvement when possible - Help clients with shopping or accompany them while they shop - Perform light housekeeping tasks clients are unable to complete on their own - Provide pleasant and supportive companionship - Report any unusual incidents - Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies ## Skills and Qualifications - Willingness to follow health and safety standards - Respectful and compassionate attitude - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Good time management skills - Strong ethics - Physical endurance - High school diploma or equivalent ## Perks - $250 sign-on bonus - Daily Pay - Flexible schedule - Health insurance - Life insurance - Paid time off - Professional development assistance - Referral program - Aflac insurance - 401(k) Guardian Angel Senior Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
