Community Organizer

Why This Role Matters As a Community Organizer, you will play a key role in advancing Planned Parenthood South Atlantic's (PPSAT) mission by building grassroots power and mobilizing supporters throughout Virginia, with a focus on the Charlottesville and Roanoke communities. You'll cultivate meaningful relationships with volunteers, community leaders, and coalition partners while driving advocacy, civic engagement, and electoral efforts that protect and expand access to sexual and reproductive health care. This is an exciting opportunity to organize year-round campaigns that create lasting community impact and help elect leaders who champion reproductive freedom. What We're Looking For We're seeking a passionate, relationship-driven organizer who thrives in community settings and is energized by building movements for change. The ideal candidate will have: Experience organizing in Virginia, particularly in electoral, issue-based, or community organizing.
