Communications Operator (Dispatcher)

The City of Aiken Department of Public Safety is accepting applications for a Communications Operator (Dispatcher). - Operate radio and computer aided dispatch equipment - Answer incoming calls and dispatch emergency personnel, vehicles, and equipment Working time requires shift work and sometimes irregular hours. - Must have a High School diploma or equivalent - Valid State issued driver's license in good standing - Typing skills This position is subject to a criminal background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities.
