Commercial/Tech Transactions Attorney

### **Join Our Team as a Commercial/Tech Trans Attorney at Axiom** ### **Location: Irvine, CA (on-site at least once a week)** We are seeking a Commercial/Tech Transactions Attorney to support our client, a large electronics company, in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will support a broad range of commercial transactions while managing key legal operations initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to partner cross-functionally with business, compliance, and privacy teams to drive efficient deal execution, mitigate risk, and support strategic technology initiatives. ### **Responsibilities:** - Manage legal operations for the legal affairs team, including outside counsel management, contract management systems, new vendor onboarding and evaluation, and the integration of VIZIO/Walmart systems and processes. - Review, draft, and negotiate commercial transaction agreements, including vendor agreements, SaaS agreements, data processing agreements, and online terms and conditions. - Own the full lifecycle of commercial transactions, from initial intake through negotiation and execution. - Partner cross-functionally with business, compliance, and privacy teams to support deal execution and risk mitigation. - Support strategic initiatives throughout the project lifecycle, including matters involving digital products, hardware, technology platforms, artificial intelligence, and regulatory compliance. ### **Qualifications:** - 10+ years of in-house legal experience preferred - Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements. - Experience managing the full lifecycle of commercial transactions. - Excellent communication, negotiation, technology, and problem-solving skills. - Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction. ### **Preferred Skills:** - Experience supporting strategic initiatives involving digital products, hardware, technology platforms, and AI-related regulatory compliance. ### **Compensation:** The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
