We seek Motivating professionals who will join our Committed team in our Stuart office. **Summary:** As a Commercial Insurance Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Commercial Insurance billing process including claims submission, and reimbursement tracking, being able to review authorizations for accuracy, and review payer verifications. This position ensures compliance with all Medicare guidelines. Billing Specialist Duties and Responsibilities: - Ensure timely submission of claims through the appropriate clearinghouse. - Review required authorizations and/or documentation required for reimbursement. - Reviews, processes, submits clean and accurate insurance claims in a timely manner. - Maintain detailed records and documentation related to commercial billing activities. - Process denial and reconsiderations letters as needed. - Identify and resolve discrepancies in payments and accounts by working the aging report weekly. - Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing issues or discrepancies. - Monitor and track commercial insurance reimbursements to ensure timely payments. - Review and correct claim errors and rejections. - Post payments received from all commercial insurance payers to patient accounts. - Reconcile payments with billing records to ensure accuracy. - Stay updated on our contractual agreements with each commercial payer to ensure compliance. - other duties as assigned. - This is not a remote position.
