Your Impact Pearce is seeking experienced Commercial HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing heavy commercial HVAC equipment. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the HVAC industry. This is a regional position. Candidates should reside in the Sacramento, California area. Core Responsibilities Maintaining heavy commercial HVAC equipment including chillers, water cooled systems, receptacle compressors, Liebert systems, controls, and multiple cooling systems. Diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems. Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on split systems up to 20 tons. Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season heavy commercial HVAC equipment. Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services. Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports. Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements. Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs. Core Experience Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required). 10+ years of experience with commercial HVAC maintenance, repair, and servicing on equipment such as Liebert (Required). Journeyman HVAC level is preferred. High level of knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email. Physical/Work Environment At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards. Candidates should reside in the Sacramento, California area. Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion. Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure. Occasional overnights required-company pays all travel costs and provides $50 per diem/per night. Driving to remote work sites as needed. Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors. Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds). May need to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical. Compensation: Starting at $104,000 up to $147,000 annual salary/DOE At Pearce, we are committed to fair and transparent pay practices.
