Your duties will include the installation and repair of Commercial and Industrial Rolling and Panel Overhead Doors, Dock Levelers, Dock Locks, Safety Gates, and Truck Shelters. You must perform all work safely and efficiently, following applicable safety regulations and company procedures while ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will promote service maintenance programs and represent the dealership in a professional manner, delivering a high level of customer satisfaction with every interaction. | | **Responsibilities** · **Service & Installation** o Perform all service, installations, and scheduled maintenance efficiently and effectively, in line with company procedures. o Diagnose faulty equipment and apply knowledge of functional operation of units and systems to identify the extent and cause of malfunction. o Assess installation job sites, evaluating unit functionality and system operations to identify and address potential installation challenges. o Maintain records of all service work and repairs performed in line with company procedures. Turn in paperwork in a timely fashion, ensuring honesty, accuracy, and legibility. · **Safety & Compliance** o Complete all required safety training in a timely manner, stay current on all required safety training, and practice safe work habits at all times. o Obtain all required certification for the operation of applicable equipment to perform work. o Maintain a clean driving record and drive safely and efficiently within the service area. · **Operational Efficiency** o Work with the service dispatcher and manager to maximize labor revenue and efficiency within the work schedule while accounting for 100% of work time. o Meet applicable goals for key performance indicators (Work in Progress, Labor Hour Efficiency, First Rate Fix, etc.). o Maintain company-supplied service van and uniforms in a clean and organized manner, as well as maintaining an accurate inventory of tools and parts. · **Customer Service & Professionalism** o Communicate and work with the Parts and Sales departments to ensure the customer’s needs are met and immediately report any potential customer issues. o Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
