COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR (MECHANICAL INSULATION) Location: Remote (LATAM) Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday | U.S. Central Time (CST) ABOUT THE COMPANY Our client is an Ohio-based commercial construction company specializing in mechanical insulation, below-grade waterproofing, and metal framing/drywall. As a growing team, they are looking for a dedicated estimator to support preconstruction efforts by delivering accurate takeoffs, estimates, and bid documentation for commercial projects across the U.S. ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator with strong experience estimating U.S. commercial construction projects, preferably in mechanical insulation (MEP trades). This role is responsible for preparing detailed takeoffs, developing accurate estimates, supporting bid submissions, and assisting with preconstruction activities. Experience estimating waterproofing and metal framing/drywall is a plus. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial construction projects. - Estimate mechanical insulation (MEP trades) and support additional scopes such as below-grade waterproofing and metal framing/drywall. - Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents. - Prepare bid packages, RFIs, submittals, and estimating documentation. - Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors during the estimating process. - Utilize company estimating software and workflows to produce accurate bids. - Maintain organized project documentation and meet estimating deadlines. QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of experience estimating U.S. commercial construction projects. - Civil Engineering degree or equivalent construction estimating experience preferred. - Experience estimating mechanical insulation projects is highly preferred. - Proficiency with Edge Estimating, FastWRAP, BuzzBid, On Center, or similar estimating software. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Fluent written and spoken English. - Able to work full-time during U.S. Central Time.
