**Job Title:** Area Manager - Morning Operations **Location:** Knoxville, TN (and surrounding areas) **Schedule:** Monday-Friday, Afternoon/Evening Shift (occasional weekends) **Status:** Full-Time, Salaried **Position Summary** Duncan & Sons', a Clean Team company, is seeking a dependable and experienced Area Manager to oversee evening operations across multiple client locations in the Knoxville Metro area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can manage teams, coordinate schedules, and ensure consistent service delivery. The Area Manager plays a key role in maintaining quality standards, controlling labor costs, and supporting employee development in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. **Responsibilities** - Supervise and support employees at assigned facilities to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency - Train, coach, and evaluate team members; provide clear expectations and ongoing feedback - Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and coverage for absences or open positions - Monitor budgeted hours versus worked hours and adjust staffing to maintain profitability - Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and productivity standards - Conduct routine site inspections and address service or performance issues promptly - Communicate with employees and leadership to ensure smooth daily operations - Resolve employee concerns professionally while maintaining a positive work environment **Qualifications** - Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance required - Prior supervisory or management experience required - Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills - Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities independently - Experience in janitorial, facilities management, or service operations preferred **What We Offer** - Competitive salary based on experience - Paid holidays and vacation time - 401(k) eligibility after one year - Advancement opportunities within a growing company - Stable leadership role with long-term growth potential **About Clean Team** Clean Team is a regional leader in facility services, employing over 500 team members across 11 locations.
