## Description | Job Title: | Telecommunications Associate | | --- | --- | | Department: | Comm Center | | Reports To: | Comm Center Manager | | Status: | Seasonal | | Age: | 21 years or older | | **SUMMARY** | | --- | The primary purpose of the Telecommunications Associate team member is to actively keep Knoebel’s team members well informed, handle emergency situations and to keep the park secure. This is a seasonal position, reporting to the Comm Center Manager. Park’s operational summer hours are typically Sunday through Tuesday 12pm to 8pm and Wednesday through Saturday 12pm to 9pm. During the parks season, evening and weekend hours are required. | **RESPONSIBILITIES** | | --- | - Direct phone and radio calls to communicate need to appropriate person or department within the park - Status checks of Night Security, Campground Security, and possibly Lake Glory Security - Monitor Park cameras and notify security of anything suspicious - Listen to county radios to notify security and/or campground if you hear police and/or an ambulance dispatched to the park - Document and record every call and response in logbook following established procedure - Check weather forecast to keep team members and guests informed and safe | **KEY COMPETENCIES** | | --- | - Candidate should possess strong communication skills, high degree of integrity, positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to solve problems - Candidate should have the ability to build strong relationships with guests, provide a high level of guest service, and be an effective member of a team - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy - Strong customer service skills, both internal and external - Maintain a positive attitude - Possess good verbal skills to clearly communicate with the Comm Center, and/or other team members via radio - Exceptional communication skills while relating to people in a friendly, professional manner - Self-motivated; acts without needing directions - Perform cleaning duties as needed to maintain a clean, safe work environment ****
