Summary Description: BB&N is seeking a full-time College Counselor to cover a leave of absence during the Winter and Spring of 2026-2027, joining our five-person team. The ideal candidate will bring experience in school-based counseling, along with strong knowledge of and curiosity about the college admissions landscape. We are looking for a professional with exceptional interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the organizational, writing, speaking, and listening abilities needed to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Intercultural fluency and a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion are essential, as the successful candidate will help create and sustain an authentic, inclusive community. We are a team where diverse experiences, backgrounds, and talents are valued and where all members are equipped to support a wide range of students, faculty, staff, and families. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Key functions for this position include, but are not limited to: - Counsel an assigned caseload of approximately 31 seniors, continuing work that has been started with their application processes, including essay review, application and financial aid document submission, interview preparation, and outreach to college admission representatives. - Launch the college process with juniors in January, meeting individually with students and families to help identify needs and wants, research college options, an…
