The Co-op program also serves as a recruitment tool to assist the IT division in hiring full-time IT personnel. **Overview and Expectations:** The Co-Op will work closely with our IT staff. They will work on projects appropriate to their experience, be given responsibility for real assignments, and be expected to perform in a professional manner. Assignments could include tasks like: assisting in gathering and verifying device inventory information, creating knowledgebase articles, decommissioning outdated equipment, and providing support on various IT projects. Co-op students should expect to be treated as full members of our IT staff. We will expect them to manage time wisely, plan their work, and complete assignments well and on time. Students should understand that members of MSD’s business units are depending upon them to provide technology solutions in support of their business needs. **CO-OP LEARNING EXPECTIONS:** *Budget:* - Salary of student; student is tentatively scheduled to work from August to December 2026 - Supervisory staff time. *Logistics:* - Student(s) will report to the MSD Administration Building, 2nd floor *Training:* - The student(s) will be trained on aspects of helpdesk ticket management plus device and system support.
