We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Special Magistrate Clerk to join our team of professionals. You’ll be a member of our highly respected team of professionals with a full complement of resources to support you and exciting projects to keep you challenged. **JOB REQUIREMENTS:** - Knowledge of municipal Code Enforcement processes and administrative procedures. - Working knowledge of Florida Sunshine Law, public records requirements, and quasi-judicial hearing procedures is preferred. - Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. - Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. - Ability to maintain accurate records and confidential information. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and document management systems. - Ability to learn municipal software applications and case management systems. - Ability to work independently while maintaining effective working relationships with coworkers, municipal staff, elected officials, and the public. **SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:** - Knowledge of municipal Code Enforcement processes and administrative procedures. - Working knowledge of Florida Sunshine Law, public records requirements, and quasi-judicial hearing procedures is preferred. - Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. - Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. - Ability to maintain accurate records and confidential information. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and document management systems. - Ability to learn municipal software applications and case management systems. - Ability to work independently while maintaining effective working relationships with coworkers, municipal staff, elected officials, and the public. **EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:** - High school diploma or GED required. - Associate's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field is preferred. - Two (2) years of progressively responsible administrative or clerical experience, preferably in a municipal government, Code Enforcement, legal, or court environment. - Experience supporting public meetings, hearings, or board proceedings is preferred. - Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. **COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:** SAFEbuilt pays competitive wages and has a comprehensive benefit offering.
