If you’re looking to be part of a forward-thinking, fast-paced, and supportive team, we’d love to hear from you! **Our tapes may do the sticking, but it’s our people who hold it all together.** **SUMMARY OF POSITION** The Coater Operator ensures scheduled orders are completed in accordance with specifications and procedures established by Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, R&D, and Engineering, while keeping safety, quality and production at or above set standards in a team environment. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Utilize logbooks for issues that occur on shift • Indirectly responsible for the safety of the crewmembers • Perform quality and standard checks • Participate in die changes as scheduled • Complete appropriate data sheets as required • Perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and safety inspections • Follow “Red Tag” procedures if required • Follow all safety rules when entering the manufacturing facility • Responsible for maintaining clean and organized work areas • Maintain inventories needed for production run • Communicate and share knowledge with operators and coworkers • Make suggestions on reducing costs, improving safety, and/or improving product or process • Participate in S4 continuous improvement team meetings and projects To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
